The seventh edition of the annual international short film festival, 'CortoKino — Unleashing Global Cinema' organised by the BMM and FTNMP Departments of Thakur College of Science And Commerce, drew to a close recently. The event saw the participation of around 93 countries across the world. More than 20 city-based media colleges thronged the venue to participate in the two-day event. A packed itinerary replete with events welcomed a host of big names from the film industry. The theme for this year's fest, 'Silver Screen Syndicate - #kayamatmachegi' aimed to celebrate the on-screen mafia characters who overshadowed the protagonist with their negative roles. The two-day international short film festival kick-started with an Iranian short film titled Gas Regulator , As Reported By DNAIndia.
According to the Newspaper,The festival witnessed the screening of films like Midnight Run, Daastan-2, Inner-city, The sacrifice, Rushnai, Boiled Potato, Where do you find God, Jayadrath Wadh. A plethora of events kept the audience entertained throughout. Events such as photography, poster making, dance, video logging, band performance were the main attractions at the festival.. .
